Coed Sand Volleyball Leagues

Our goal is to teach the sport of Sand Volleyball to any child between the 4th Grade through 12th Grade.
In April 2009, the NCAA added Women's Sand Volleyball to the list of college sports. They will begin playing sand volleyball in college in the 2011 season.
Because of this, we want to offer our Coed Sand Volleyball leagues to introduce the game and rules to all kids. Whether your child is in the 4th grade or 12th grade, they will enjoy the sport by learning the fundamentals in practice and putting them to use every week during their scheduled match. Each player will be seperated by Divisions.

1 weekday practice and (1) OR (2) Matches every Saturday beginning on the 2nd Saturday. Each league session is 8 weeks long.
Our league fee is $125.00 per player if paid prior to late registration. The late registration is $145.00. This fee includes a team shirt..Sand Socks are recommended but not required. Sand Socks are great for cold/hot sand conditions and are available for $20 per pair at the vending machine located at The Stadium. Only cash is accepted in the vending machine.
All practices and games are scheduled at The Stadium Restaurant. They have two regulation sand volleyball courts that are fully enclosed and lit. There is a large outdoor patio area to watch and enjoy the games for all you family and fans. The Stadium Restaurant is very clean and family friendly, we are sure you will enjoy the facility.
The Stadium Restaurant is a full service restaurant. They are located on Hwy 290 just 9 miles west of the "Y" in SW Austin.

Advanced Sand Volleyball Leagues
YouthSVB realizes that there are many players that have played organized volleyball in some format. Your child might have been on a volleyball team in Junior High, High School, or some other form of instructional team.
We are committed to allowing those players that want to step up their game to the next level by providing Advanced Leagues for separate male and female teams.
These Leagues will be limited to boys or girls in the 6th grade thru 12th grade. Players must have basic knowledge of volleyball rules and fundamentals with 2 season of school playing experience and/or 1 season of club team experience. They will be introduced to the differences between hard court volleyball and sand volleyball. There are differences in not only the court surface but many other rules.
Jump serving, passing, hitting, setting, footwork, and other advanced techniques will be taught.
The Advanced Leagues will be 8 week sessions and match play on Saturdays. Practices will be during a weeknight. The early registration fee for the Advanced League will be $145.00. The late fee will be $165.00. Each of the teams will be limited to the 1st 12 male and female players that register.

If you think your child is ready to join our Advanced League, send us an email expressing your interest. Once we receive enough interest via email, we will contact you regarding when we plan to start our 1st Advanced League.
